He has been a singer since he was so young and become very popular which he has release recording for different labels from '50 through '70

The beat and the rythm of the songs are quite fast and excited. I can catch some unique style of Richard in which he always peak out the sound at the end of the sentence. He always put some screaming sound to be more rock n' roll in the middle of the songs which is very interested.

For the sound of the instruments I can recognize that some part they will leave the sound of instruments out and let the singer sing alone and after that the beat of th instument will come again to play along with the sound of the singer. I think this is a technique of Rock n' Roll in which they keep the listener alert and feel excited. The improvise of the instruments is very interesting which I can hear continueous sound of drum with some mix of keyboard.

When I listen to his song, I have a feeling that I wanna get up and dance hahaha, seriously !!! I'm not wondering now that why my parents still listen to Rock n' Roll songs which used to be very popular long time agos. But in some people's mind its consider to very very classic in which they can all the time listen and never get bored and feel happy everytime they hear the beat of Rock n' Roll !!!

They Shoot Horses, Don't They ???

Almost of the story of the movie "They Shoot Horses, Don't They??" took place on a dancing floor. The main kind of songs which they play in the contest is Folk which is very popular at that time. However, this is not a normal dancing contest, it is a marathon dancing contest which last long more than 1,000 hours and it took for a month for the contest to end. Every candidate have to dance non-stop even when they are eating and no matter how tired they are. There are many special competitions for the condidate such as every couple have to run around the hall for 10 minutes and for the last 3 couples who came last have to be eliminated and also the dancing alone without partner contest, every condidate have to dance saperate with their partners and have to be able to stand alone without falling down on the floor no matter how they sick or fall asleep.

The main couple in this movies, the first couple is Robert and Gloria. Robert and Gloria are never known each other before but because of Gloria partner accidently cannot get into the contest. However, at the end of the story both of them found out the truth of the show that they have been used to sell their show or as everybody knows " It is a business". Gloria is very upset and has ended her life by the help of Robert "shooting by the gun". And sadly, Robert got caught for killing Gloria.

In my opinion, The reason why the movie named " They have shoot horses, don't they?" is because of the show itself that have set everything up to earn as much profit as they can. They have set everything up to happen in the show without knowing of the candidates such as stealing the clothes of the candidate to make the show looks exciting and to increase its rating. Because of this, I can see that every candidate can be compared as a horse which the owner of the show can pick and set the role for them.

I can see that this not only a contest, it use the life of the candidates to promote the shows without any moral. I can see from one couple of the candidate which the women is pregnant but they still let the women get in the contest in order to promote their show without caring about the actually life of both the women and the baby. In the show, there is one old man die because of the hear attack and also the main character Gloria.

Actually, In my point of view, this is not a daning contest because I see nobody can actually dance. All I can see is the candidate daning with their eye shut and movie deadly because of the exhausted of not enough sleep. Some of them have to hold their partner to stand and they are not actually dance, they just moving their legs and how come this is called " Dancing Contest"???

:: CHICAGO ::

CHICAGO

The movie CHicago, represents the life of people who's live in Chicago whcich every minute things can turn up side down. This can be compared as a star which within one pass night the light of the star will be disappear and the next night, the new one will shine instead on th sky.

The story of the movie is told by a song, Musical which the characters were sing and act in order to describe his/her own feeling. The movie obviously shown that the person, who can live in Chicago, must be a good actor.. This means that the outloook of the people that you see is not all the time as what you actually see !! Because of wat?? Yes, because they are all a good actor.

The first main character in this movie is Roxie. She has a dream of becoming an act. SHe always wants to be a pop star which everyone known. She wants her pictures to be on every newspaper. Her hair was look like Marileen Monroll, which is a bit short and curl with a gold color. This might be a fashion at that perios of time. However, she was lured by a guy named Frad who he promised to introducr her to a person who can lead her to be a pop star. Because of this liar of Frad, Roxie killed him and was caught to the jail

The second main character is Kelly. She already was a famous act, but unfortuanately she killed a man whose hading fun on the bed with another girl. As the result, Kelly shot him down. She was also ended up in the jail same as Roxie. Kelly is one of a good example who just within one day becoming a dust on the floor.

Later they both Roxie and Kelly shine once again on the stage by the return of duo....""DOuble Act""

The last main character is Billy. He is a lawyer who took Roxie out of the jail. He is the one who never ever lose the case with one easy simple trick "acting". He reversed every background information of Roxie and set her on the play to perform in the court. And its work !!!

In my opinion, this movie is such a good movie which i rearely see this kind of movie. Every scene, it seems like the character are communicating with each other by the imagination of the play. The though of the characters are also represent out in the form of the play. For myself, I will give the theme for this movie is that " The lure life in Chicago" which means every people is wearing a mask to face each other. You would never known that they gonna betray u.

The movie shows that during at that time the plays was very popular which everybody pay attention to it.... and for the people who want to be famous >>> Being an actor is their solution. About the law during that period of time, for the people who killing someone, they will end up by hanging.

>>>GettYsBurG (CiviL WaR)

GettysBurG (CiviL WaR)

The Gettyburg civil war was one of the most important event which ever happened in the history of America and brouht a lot of turning point to the American society. The Gettyburg was the battle between the Northern union army which commanded by Robert E Lee with the Sounthern confederate army.

As i have watched the movie, I can notice the main caused of the war, the living style of the Americans people during that time and also the social class. There was a large gap of the society during that period of time which there were a lot of slavery in the South part of America. These slavery surfing their master to look after the land and once they become the slave of their master, the next generation of them still have to serve the same master once their parents were died.

On the other side, The Northern part of the America, during that time the President Abraham, Lincoln have been elected to serve the country and have anouced to quit the slavery system. The Northern part is seeking for modernization, freedom and independence which if there were still slavery exist in the Sounthern part, there was difficult to develop the whole country to the better day.

Bacause of this, the war was started as the Sounth part still want to keep their slave and have decided to seperate the nation out from the Northern part.

The main character of this movie is Robert Edward Lee, who commanded the army of the Northern side. Lee is the one who searching for the freedom and indepency, therefore, he is strongly opposed the slavery system. He is also encouraging the race segmentation. He views everybody as a human being no racism segmentation such as the Americal Blacks people. He is the one who truly understand the feeling of the slave which were unhappy and demanded freedom.

As the result of the war, Lee defeated the sounthern part and so for the slavery have more freedom which are able to study and have to right to choose to serve the master by their owned though. In my opinion, this was the main turning point of the America as ts decrease the level of the social class which make the whole country become stronger and more educated country which have been accepted worildwide by other countries nowdays. As you can see from a large market of trading of Americas recently, if we think back, this is the result of the old day, so thanks u for General Robert Edward Lee ^^

**Music Ass** (PauL Butterfield)

PauL ButterField

Pual Butterfield was as American blues harmonica player and singer, and one of the earliest Caucasian exponents of the Chicago-originated electric blue style. I have found that this blue band occurs during the time when the American white people started to accept the American Blacks people. Therfore, the blue songs were introduced to the white and has been accepted till nowadays

In my opinion, the sound of music is more likely as a kind of jazz music as when I can hear the sound of a piano as the background of the music plus some sound of quitar and soft sound of a drum playing along with the sound of the singer

When i m listening to its music, I can hear many verse of the improvise of music which let the intruments play as an important role without the sound of the singer interupted. Therefore, I can say that the Butterfield's namd is the band that introduced a modern Chicago-style, blues to the white audiencs. And, the unique style of the music have taught many Americans rockers the blues and how to play and improvised plus some extended solo.

The sound of music also has some sense of rock and rolls which more likely as the Elvis who is the King of the rocks and roll. The brand Paul Butterfield had been introduced the blue music to the whites and also helpes to influence more then hundreds of others bands.

Paul Butterfield, have many albums which most of them were very popular in the past and also still popular up till now:

*1965 - The Paul Butterfield Blues Band
*1966 - East West
*1967 - The Ressurrection of Pigboy Brabshaw
*1968 - In My Own Dream
*1969 - Keep on Moving
*1971 - Sometimes I Just Fell Like Smilin'
*1973 - Better Days
*1973 - It All COmes Back

**Umm, one more thing is that the words which use to write the Blue music, mostly are the Black American English which spoken widely in the group of American Black people as I recognize of the lyrics of the musics**

American Outlaws^^

American Outlaws

The movie “American Outlaws” is talking about the time when the American Civil War just ended. In the movie, it represents the characters of the westerns people during that time and shows the intelligent of people who you can see in the movie which later they form a gang called “Younger James Gang”

The main character of this movie is Jesse James. He is a farmer and lives happily with his family, but once a gang burns up his farm as well as killing his mother, he started to form the gang and the story continue showing his action of robbing the bank and the train.

There are many excited action of Jesse showing in the movie. Every action that he does seem like very easy but actually if something goes wrong that can cause him a serious injured or even can killed him. He can turn the situation up side down especially the scene when he was caught and have been taken to the train. His two hands were both locked up and also there were many people look after him. However, he still can show his unbelievable talent escape out of the locked room and finally he could run away by the help of his friends and also his beloved “Zereila”.

However, the money which the “Younger James Gang” got from the robbing of the train and the back, they will give to the charity and to the others people

The movie not only shows the ability of the characters, it also the way of how Western people live, the clothes which they wear, the punishment of people who do things against the laws and the transportation which they will use horses in order to take them anywhere they want. The clothes which they wear look alike a cowboy and the women will wear a long dress and staying home. The railway is the most common way to transport from one city to another. For the punishment, a group of local will hang the people in front the public to shows the others that this is the end of the people who do against the country laws.

For myself, I really enjoy this movie, the fighting journey of the Younger James Gang keep me alert up until the end of the movie. Jesse James is the one who is very craver and brave, he uses his brain every time he does his job. He has a unique character which if he smile, that’s mean he is going to do something which no one could ever imagine. I really recommend this movie to all my friends who love the western film plus some comedy. I can guarantee that you will fall in love with Jesse James; he is very handsome as you can see from the pictures which I have been posted it above ^^

**Last of His Tribe**

The movie “Last of His Tribe” represents the life of the Indians people who had been invaded by the white people. This is considered to be one of the saddest movies which I have ever seen, many Indian were killed and had to run away from their home every time they heard the voice of the white people’s dogs.

The main character in this movie is the Indian man named “Ishi”; he is the last person of Yahi Indian tribe who remaining on earth. Once all the people of tribe had been killed, he couldn’t live in his village anymore therefore he came to California and had met Professor Alfred Kroeber, who help him teaching English and at the same time he was observing the way how Indian people living.

The movie “Last of his Tribe” gives you an idea about the believe and their lifestyle of Indians people. It shows the cruel manner of the white people treated to the Indians. The white people were trying to kill all of the people and make them instinct out of the world. Not only this, most of the skeleton of the Indian people who had been killed were kept in the museum and had been used as the part of wax model. This shows the ruthless of the white people who treated Indians like one of the animal that do not have any feeling.

There is one scene of the movie represent the religious of the Indian which they believe that once people are dead, the alive people should sing for them and climate them at last. If people do not follow this method, the dead spirit will not go peace and will always haunt the one they love.

The ending of the movie is very sympathetic that Ishi is dead and his body was brought to the examine room for the people to investigate. Instead of letting his spirit go peaces by burning his body but rather they took his body and cut some past of his body to examine.

After I’m done with this movie, I feel very sorry those Indians people who have been killed by the whites and I am able to feel their pain of loosing the one they love. However, I do believe that deep down in human soul, everyone would feel regretful for their action of killing the people and if they can turn back the they would changed their attitude and let them live in peace.

Far Horizons

The movie “The Far Horizons” is generally tells the story of the United States when has just acquired Louisiana from France. There are two main characters which play an important role in the movie which are Lewis and Clark who are sent to survey the territory and go where no white man has gone before.

At the beginning of the movie, it tells about a woman named “Julia” who both Lewis and Clark falling in love with. However, Clerk is the one who took Julia’s heart and has promise to get marry with her right after he come back. However, Clerk’s mind has been changed right after he met an Indian girl named Sacagawea .

About Lewis and Clark

Lewis is the one who planned an exploration of a route west to the Pacific coast of North America and has invited Willam Clark to join the expedition. They obtained horses, supplies, and valuable information from the Indians they met on their journey (In this movie I have learn lots of the culture of an Indians, especially the way they live and how the men fight to get the women that they love and also the unique sound they make when get ready for fighting Wo Wo Wo) .

Clark, he is interested in studying astronomy and map-making. While he was accompanying to do his duty with Lewis, he fell in love with Indians girl named Sacajawea. She is the one who provided help as a guide and interpreter. Her very presence helped insure good relations with Indian peoples, as Clark noted in his journal. Later he brought her back to New York to get marry with him and starts to have a family after that.

Later, in the year 1807 Thomas Jefferson (the leader behind this duty) has appointed Clark to be a principal Indian agent for the Louisiana Territory and brigadier general of its militia. For further information, I have found out that in the year1822 Clark was named Superintendent of Indian Affairs at St. Louis, a post which during these years often involved supervising the removal of eastern tribes to lands assigned to them in what would become eastern Kansas. Clark remained superintendent until shortly before his death in 1838, winning a reputation for fairness and honesty from whites and Indians alike.

For myself, after I have watched this movie, I have learnt many of Americans culture in the past in a way that both Lewis and Clark going on the way to search out the land that they’ve never been. The way they live, the difficulty that they face on the journey and the way fight during that period of time. More than that the others culture apart from American is the Indians culture which have been created up obviously among them and very difficult to change it.

Colonial 1776

The movie "Colonial 1776" is mainly described about America's first congress and the nation's declaration of independence from Britain. This movie is made out in a form of musical, which help to keep the attention of the audience in order to explain the story. In the movie, the situation is almost taking place in the council hall where all the governors of each city arguing or voting of some purposes. According to these scenes, I can recognize one thing that the councilors will express their agreement by thumping the table to make a noise when they agree with the purposes.

In general, there are about five main characters which play an important role in the movie. The most important character is John Adam. He is the one who's trying to make revolution independence and he the driving force behind the whole things.

The second main character is John Dickinson. He is the one who always confront with John Adam, which he’s not agreeing with Adam idea. He fears of the changes and afraid of the result that would happen afterward if the England has been break away. John Dickinson is one of the characters that just want to protect the land he loved.

The third character is Jefferson. He is a quite man and very loves his wife. He view love is the most important thing in his life. Jefferson is one of the characters who support John Adam to revolution the independency. He has special talent that can play such a beautiful song with his favorite violin. (This can show that during that period of time there were already discovered the instrument called "Violin"

The next character is Benjamin Franklin. He shaped the American revolution. He gained the recognition of scientists and intellectuals across Europe and the United States.

For the last main character is Richard Henry Lee. He is a tall, thin and aristocratic in appearance. He is one of a member of Virginia. Richard Henry's is the one who wrote the first bill boldly proposed "to lay so heavy a duty on the importation of slaves as to put an end to that iniquitous and disgraceful traffic within the colony of Virginia." Africans,

As I have search out for more information about this movie, I have known that this movie used to perform in the original Broadway production of 1776 opened on March 16,1969 at the 46th Street Theatre. In my opinion, this movie can tell the history of American very well as the movie is performed in a way of musical which is easy to understand and the sound of all the players are very well catch the interest of the audience.

However, as the times pass some words which the players sing or speak in the movie, the new generation audience may not understand. I think it’s because there are loads of new words have been created up to replace the old words which had been used in the past. Therefore, sometime its might be difficult for the audience to know every words that the players speak in the movie.

In some part of the movie, there are some of the biggest laughs, some of the most poignant moments, and the sweetest love songs you'll see in movies. Much of the dialog is taken straight from the documented letters and conversations of the principal characters, and we get to see them as real people with real worries and real feelings, rather than as the marble statues seen in the history books. I am really think that this movie is definitely a must see movie (and stage play, if you get the chance), and one you won' t forget

About Me ^^

Well, i'm in the faculty of Art, majoring in Marketing.
